I call myself "Roma Lindas Photos" because it reminds me of the times I've gone on mission trips and used my artistic gifts and combined them with ministry. 

To start from the beginning, I went to Haiti on my first mission trip when I was 13 years old. I had been documenting the trip with a small digital camera, and frantically scribbling down every detail in my journal. Late one night at the mission compound, a teammate commented "You could totally be a photojournalist, Roma!" And I never forgot that.

Fast forward to when I went to Guatemala three summers in a row. I also would document these trips with photos. A teammate of mine, was trying to learn the language and noted that "Linda" is "beautiful" in Spanish. He would yell "Roma-LINDA!" for all to hear whenever I entered the room, just for kicks. Then I got the idea later to use that name as my Instagram handle because it reminds me of the why behind what I'm doing. 

I want to use any skills God has given me to show people His glory, His beauty, and how He's moving and working around the world.

I'm seeking out mission organizations, to tell their stories, or event centers where people are celebrating. I'm seeking out individuals like you who have a story to be told. Through beautiful photos, I want to celebrate what God is doing through you and me.
